One copy sold to date
Well, not so much “sold” as “mailed to us, hot off the presses.”

Megumi dressed up for the occasion. Also for a tea ceremony deal she went to all day on Sunday, but hey, it could be for the grand gala book release as well.

So the book is done. I expect to see a copy in my hot little hands tomorrow (when I finally get found at home during hours when the takkyûbin guy can get there). It looks like this.

Later on I get the rest of my batch from the warehouse . . . and then the rest of my money . . . and then world fame, I guess. Looking forward to it.
Fantastic fiction.
In both senses of the word. Jonathan Stroud is the name of the author I’m reading now; the first two books of the Bartimaeus Trilogy are proving to be well-crafted and a lot of fun. The Amulet of Samarkand tells the tale of a young kid who learns he has magical talent and describes adventures he has while taking his first steps in the art. It is not, thankfully, a Harry Potter clone . . . The story is fresh and the world is very original. You can find more info on it by going to the Amazon page, so I’ll leave that as an exercise for the reader.

Well, that took long enough.
MT broke on me some time ago. I had very few free hours to play with the thing, so I left it as-is . . . and wow was that boring. I doubt I have any readers now (didn’t have many to begin with) but I’m online once again.
