Button madness
So I’ve gone a bit crazy with all the little buttons and banners and such down on the bottom right of this top page. You can subscribe to the feed on NewsGator (which is cool; it’s run by a company that bought NetNewsWire, an application that gives you yet another way to read news feeds) or on My! Yahoo! (which I added! for Adam!) and you can go see Enchante’s website and all those other online places.
Is it overkill? Gimmicky? I’ve seen pages that have about 20 of those little banners. I don’t plan on adding them to show my latitude and longitude, or my favorite brand of beer, or anything like that.
Soon the time will come to move this whole thing to the front page of my site. The static stuff that’s been sitting there since 2004 needs to go into an archived folder that nobody will look at again. Soon! It’s Golden Week now, so maybe the next five or six days with no trips to the office will give me the time I need to do that.

I’m about to move from xanga to a wordpress blog so I’m sure I’ll be going banner crazy soon too!

I have a Wordpress blog up at asij88.net. I paid for MT, so I use it here, but I find them both pretty easy to configure and run. (Styling is a different matter, though.)
