Rice art
This is art on a grand scale:
Come up with a design, plant different varieties of rice for color, and photograph the results from a plane. Info on these things is at the Inakadate, Aomori CIR's website. Cool stuff . . . Nazca for the rice-paddy set. (Here's what got made in 2006.)
